for the second half of life
After we reach the second half of life, we can look back on our past and know that we are not the same person that we were 20 years ago. We are wiser, possess greater knowledge and make better life choices.
We can set aside our culture’s aging stereotypes that may be based on fear, isolation and personal diminishment and embrace the second half of life with passion, creativity and optimism. As we value our years of life experiences, we have the chance to mine their riches. No generation in history has had this exceptional opportunity.
I am excited to have the opportunity to create this website, blogs and a monthly e-newsletter which will continually keep us exploring and amused about the possibilities we have t0 create the experiences we want and give energy to everything we do at this creative time.
Keep Your Fork – Dessert is on the Way: Savoring the Second Half of Life
All my life I have enjoyed the guidance of self-help books. However when it came to the second half of my life, I couldn't find one that gave me ideas on how to make this a vibrant time so I decided to write my own.
Keep Your Fork - Dessert is on the Way is an easy read which will give you opportunities to explore:
•True self-expression: Making choices looking at all the possibilities with clarity and courage
•Spiritual Awareness: Exploring your connection to our creative source
•Conscious Living: Clarifying your life purpose and how to make that a vibrant force in your life
•Humor and Fun: Seeing the humor and mystery in your life experiences
Oliver Wendell Holmes said,
“Many people die with their music still in them. Why is this so? Too often it is because they are always getting ready to live. Before they know it, time has run out.”
Now is our time to live.
